Your Living Obituary
Before you head off to safari, you might consider having your Living Obituary prepared! As the winner of this service, you will be entitled, over the course of four-ish hours, to be casually and thoughtfully interviewed about your life (or at least the parts you want to share!) by me. I can’t wait to hear your stories, see photos, and relive the memories that make up your life! We can meet over meals or coffee, at the library or at DUUC. Then, I will deliver a summary of the unique story of you -- your Living Obituary to share, tuck away for another day, or post as your LinkedIn biography if you are particularly brazen. Your story deserves to be told!

Trip to the Art Institute of Chicago
Come explore the Art Institute of Chicago with Kristen. There are thousands of paintings, sculptures, artifacts, and textiles to see! Includes admission to the Art Institute, admission to a special exhibition (if applicable), transportation, and parking. We’ll leave from DUUC around 9 a.m. on a mutually agreed upon date in mid to late September or early October 2026. We can have lunch at the museum or nearby restaurant or food truck. (Pay on your own.)
This will be split into 2 trips with 3 guests each trip. Please be advised that any group larger than 3 cannot be accommodated on a single trip and will be split up into 2 trips on 2 different days.

Kid's Afternoon Out
Give yourself a well-deserved break! I will care for and entertain up to
two children aged 5 to 10 years for 4 hours on a date
mutually agreed! I'll plan the day with your input and base activities
on your child/children's interests to keep them engaged. We can stay at
your home or venture out to a local play-place, library, or design a
neighborhood exploration. I'll bring appropriate snacks and perhaps
games or books aligned with the child's interests. I grew up in this
church and have offered childcare services over the years for many, and
now for this newest generation of UUs!
