	500	Bob Love Autographed Basketball Bob Love played for the Chicago Bulls from 1968 thru 1976 and his extraordinary contribution to the team was recognized when it later retired his jersey number (#10). But Love may be most remembered for overcoming a stutter he had since childhood, which kept him from gainful employment after his playing days. A benefactor sponsored speech therapy for Love who then went on to become the Bulls’ Director of Community Relations, regularly speaking to children, and becoming a motivational speaker. 	501	Gayle Sayers Autographed Football Gayle Sayers was one of the Chicago Bear’s all time great running backs from 1965 thru 1971. He became an active philanthropist after retiring from football. Value: $150.00
	502	Otis Wilson Autographed Football Otis Wilson was one of the “Monsters of the Midway” defensive team of the Chicago Bears from 1980 thru 1987, which was key to the Bears’ winning Super Bowl XX in 1985. After his playing days, he started the Otis Wilson Charitable Association which provides an all-inclusive health and fitness program for at risk youth in the Chicago area. Value: $75.00
	503	Ozzie Gillen Autographed Baseball Ozzie Gillen, standout player for the Chicago White Sox from 1984 thru 1997, went on to be the team’s manager from 2003 to 2011. In 2005 he led the Sox to its first World Series victory since 1917. Value: $50.00

About Us

Fundraising, Fellowship and Fun! The Goods & Services Auction is the church’s largest (non-canvas) annual fundraiser. The auction takes place the first week in November. Funds raised at the auction are a critical piece of the operating budget for DuPage UU Church.

This year's auction is, again, an in-person and virtual event. Browse the silent auction offerings on-line for your favorite items and events and attend the live auction. Many church members fill their yearly social calendar with parties purchased from the auction. Items and events offered for auction foster fellowship and service to one another throughout the year.
